SST-1643 - AOD, AOD-E and 4R70W End Play and Clearance Gauge Bar Transmission Tool

SST-1643 Ford End Play & Clearance Gauge Transmission Tool This tool is used as a straight edge and is set across the pump case mounting surface. This allows you to measure the distance down to the intermediate clutch plates and to the the reverse clutch drum thrust face. This allows you to select the selective steel for the intermediate clutch plates and the selective thrust washer for the end play. The tool is a square bar with holes drilled through for use with a depth micrometer (not included) for measuring the depths. A must have when rebuilding your transmission. Used with a depth micrometer (not included) to check end play and clearance.
