Our wheel seals are engineered using only the highest-quality materials to meet vehicle manufacturer specificatons. We work with suppliers to design seals that meet Schaeffler's quality standards. Seals are designed to protect wheel end components from contamination - such as dirt, dust, and moisture - and prevent the loss of grease over the life of the bearing. The specifications for wheel seals are very demanding, and the type required depends on the specific application, position and vehicle class.

• Generation 3 Wheel Bearings – These wheel bearings have two flanges, one serves as the wheel hub, and the other secures the bearing unit to the axle carrier. These double-row angular contact ball bearings are compact, and cannot be disassembled.
• Maintenance-Free – These Wheel Bearings are pre-greased, maintenance-free, sealed, and are cleaned pre-setting. These wheel bearing are for driven and non-driven axles.
• With Orbitally Formed Shoulder – The orbitally formed shoulder ensures a solid connection of the hub and bearing rings, which reliably sets the required bearing clearance, and significantly reduces potential assembly errors.
• With axial Face Spline - To meet vehicle manufacturer’s growing CO2 reduction requirements, we developed a wheel bearing technology that simplifies assembly, increases the transferable torque, augments the driving dynamics of the vehicle and reduces CO2 emissions.
• Repair – These wheel replacement parts are easy-to-assemble as no special tools are required for removing or press-fitting. Observe the tightening torques specified by the manufacturer and use all supplied accessory parts to ensure safe and secure seating.
